International friendly: Wales vs England
Venue: Wembley Stadium, London Date: October 9th Kick-off: 7:45 PM BST
Craig Bellamy states England's player pool is remarkable that matchmakers wouldn't match them against the Welsh team.
Bellamy's men meet their neighbors in a non-competitive match at Wembley on this Thursday before their important World Cup qualifier against Belgium next Monday.
National team coach Tuchel has left the such as Jude Bellingham, Foden and Grealish out of his selection for the match against Wales and their World Cup qualifier against the Latvian team.
"England have a ridiculous squad, like France," the coach said.
"They have a market valuation of £1.4bn, ours is £170m. Were you a boxing promoter, you would not put us together. It wouldn't be allowed."
He explains making sure the Welsh team can face the star-studded rivals is a "key motivation".
The Wales head coach continued: "Our team do not rely on values, but the reality is they don't just have one team. They have multiple and the French and others have the same level. They have loads of top talents and that's a fact."
"One right-back went out injured the other day and there's only 24 more to choose from! They have over sixty footballers. I wish Wales to be stacked like them."
These two nations most recently met at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, when the English emerged as comfortable victors in a fixture before Gareth Southgate's side reached the quarter-finals.
Southgate's successor is Tuchel, a European and world club winner at the London club who has won league championships in France and his home country.
The Welsh boss was previously an coach at the Belgian side and Burnley to Vincent Kompany, who succeeded Tuchel at Bayern Munich.
"Tuchel's an incredible coach - his record speak for themselves," he added.
"I have a degree of understanding because the club he left I know individuals who have joined. I get a bit of an insight from that of his methods and it's very impressive. "
"His tactical detail is elite and I aimed to be facing such a challenge - observe how you're going to adapt because he will. I will get to learn from that. I'd love to reach that level."
