Trevoh Chalobah playing for England

The Chelsea star emulated his brother Nathaniel in representing England, emerging as the twenty-first duo of brothers to earn caps for the England side.

The Chelsea defender is expected to join up with the Three Lions selection to fill in for injured Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi.

The 26-year-old footballer is scheduled to join the team for England's last World Cup qualifying matches against Albania and Serbia, but it has yet to be made public.

The Three Lions have already secured qualification for the upcoming tournament.

Chalobah earned his maiden call-up under England manager Thomas Tuchel in the month of May and then earned his first cap against Senegal.

In September, Tuchel remarked Chalobah was unfortunate to be omitted from the team for qualifying games against Serbia and Andorra, and additionally didn't call him up for the subsequent October international break.

Tuchel has been an significant influence in Chalobah's development, having awarded him his Chelsea first-team bow in 2021.

Chalobah has played in almost every fixtures for Chelsea this season, with the club in third place in the Premier League, in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals and in the group stage of the European competition.

Guehi sustained a foot injury in Crystal Palace's Europa Conference League success over the Dutch side in their last match.

There are set to be other additions to the team. Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has announced that both attacker Anthony Gordon (hip) and goalkeeper Nick Pope (a concussion) will withdraw from the squad.
